An update for the next few weeks and a chance to earn some cash

I hope that you are looking forward to the long bank holiday weekend this week.

As a reminder there is no club session this weekend, we are giving the coaches a chance to take some time off and do their own thing.

The following weekend most of our coaches are going to the Wye weekend so we will only be offering a Social River paddle to competent paddlers.

Normal coaching sessions will resume after that.

However on the weekend of the 25th of June and 2nd of July the centre will be hosting the World Freestyle Championships.  This is a chance to see the very best in the world in action.  We would encourage paddlers to come along and watch during the week or on the weekends, however, we will not be arranging sessions on these days.

There will be a club trip organised for the 25th of June, more details to follow.

And now a chance to earn some cash.  The organisers of the Outlaw Nottingham event need on water safety cover for their event and are willing to pay.  You must have your own craft that is capable of rescuing a swimmer in the water, so no playboats, and be over 16.  And yes the timings below are correct, they want you there ready to get on the water at 5.30 in the morning!
