Dear Paddler
Next weekend a number of our club coaches and instructors will be undertaking the next level of their qualification, and to do so they need paddlers to coach.
We don’t need many, as this level of award concentrates on individualised coaching, but if you would like to receive a free day of coaching which will be 4 sessions then please contact me.
However, to give our coaches the best possible chance of succeeding you need to meet the following requirements.
Be over 18 Be able to get to Newark where the assessment is taking place for 9am Be a beginner to intermediate paddler – by which we would think that you would have undertaken between 8 -14 sessions (roughly) Be a kayak paddler, sorry no SUPs or Canoes as this is a kayak assessment. Be prepared to be coached by a variety of coaches over the days session.
We only need one more paddler for Saturday and one more paddler for Sunday, and please don’t be offended if we don’t choose you if you apply, our coaches need to select paddlers that will match the group they already have.
If you don’t have your own kit the club will get this to the venue for you.
