Members update

Dear [first_name}
As we look forward to seeing some warmer weather on the way I wanted to give you an update for the next few weeks.
We don’t usually hold a club session on a bank holiday but this Saturday there will be a paddling session as our coaches have offered their time as they are not away with their families.
There may be limited paddling sessions on the weekend of the 12th of June as this is the River Wye trip which will involve a lot of coaches, so there may be a social paddle but not much coaching.
I am also delighted that we have now put trips on the website for June, August and September, the first two of these are very suitable for newer paddlers with the third trip being for slightly more experienced paddlers. If you would like to discuss any of these trips with the organisers then please contact the organiser Dave on Touring@hppcc.co.uk Touring@hppcc.co.uk> and he will be happy to discuss the trips with you.
British Canoeing have some places on a Paddlesport Instructor course in Doncaster next weekend. These places are available for only £50 for members of the club but you must have completed an FSRT course and be able to go to Doncaster for the course. For information please contact Joseph Halliwell-Dykes joseph.halliwell-dykes@britishcanoeing.org.uk joseph.halliwell-dykes@britishcanoeing.org.uk> at British Canoeing to apply for a place.
Don’t forget to sign up for the litter picking trip on the 6th of June to do your bit for the environment and have a great time with friends on the water. You can take part from any craft and spaces in a raft are available for those who want to paddle together.
We look forward to seeing you out on the water.
Kind regards Dawn
