Dear Paddler
This weekend sees the club running a Sheltered Water Coach Training session.
However, in order to train our coaches they need some paddlers to coach.
If you would be free on Saturday afternoon from 2.30 to 4.30 or from 10am until 1pm on Sunday, and would like some coaching pointers then please let me know. Priority will be given to any paddlers that could do both sessions as this will give the coaches some continuity between the days.
This session on Saturday would take place as part of a journey on the Trent, Sunday will be on the lake.
Ideally you would have had about 8 – 14 sessions and be confident in your boat but still need support with some strokes or techniques, ideally you would also be able to paddle canoe as well – tandem would be fine.
We do only need 3 or 4 paddlers so there is very limited space.
