Remembering Zoe Tarrant

Good evening Paddler

In celebration of Zoe Tarrant’s life, we are holding “Paddle your way with a feather in your hair” at Holme Pierrepont pond, on the evening of Wednesday the 22nd May. We will meet at 5.30pm, aiming to be on the water by 6pm.
We will aim to paddle to Trent bridge and back, or a shorter distance if that is what you can do, having a “fuddle (bring and share food)” and raising a cup (think of the environment and bring your own please) of “pink pop” to toast our collective memories and share stories of our vibrant and brilliantly wonderful friend.
You are all welcome and all free to engage in as much as you can, whether it is dipping a toe in the water and then going for a walk, or if you are further afield, having a paddle of whatever description at the same time, and raising a glass at 8.30 of your chosen tipple and remembering Zoe in your own way.

We will be being joined on this evening by many of Zoe’s friends from Newark Canoe Club, and if you know of others who want to remember Zoe please invite them.
You might want to bring a camp chair or a picnic blanket to sit on, and we are looking for a few Gazebo type shelters and camp tables, if you could bring one could you please let Tracy Randerson know.
If anyone attending this evening of sharing and remembrance is not a club member please ask them to email Tracy Randerson tracyran75@gmail.com beforehand with their name and car registration as the centre are waiving the parking charges for those attending.
We hope to see you there to remember Zoe.
Kind regards
Dawn
