Rescue and Rolling sessions

Dear Paddler
Trevor is going to be running three sessions for paddlers who want to learn some basic skills in rescuing boats and people from the water.
The sessions are 2 and a half hours long and are on a Saturday afternoon or Thursday night.
They are now available to book on the club site.
Paddlers should have basic paddling skills to make sure that they can control their boats. They will be very wet sessions. These are ideal for paddlers wanting to move to independent paddling or going on trips with the club.
The course will be certified with the new Paddle Safer certificate from British Canoeing.
Trevor is also offering pool to pond rolling sessions from 1230 to 1.30 on a Saturday in July and August for those who want to move their skills in the pool to real water. Again very wet sessions.
If any coaches, leaders or instructors can support these sessions, and want to practice their own skills at the same time, then please let Trevor know so that he knows who is coming.
The rolling sessions can now be booked on line as well.
Kind regards Dawn Scott Chair of Trustees
