With the weather conditions this week the river is still running high, and flooding imminent.
We have therefore taken the decision to cancel the Saturday recreational session and social river paddle.
Water quality at the moment is awful, with land run off, sewage releases, litter and debris in the river, and even once paddling restarts we advise members to take extra care with good hygiene, washing hands and kit after paddling, and avoiding immersion in the water.
Anyone who was booked for a session this weekend or last weekend will be given a voucher refund against a future session.
