Dear Paddler
As the world freestyle championships are taking place there will be no regular Saturday sessions for the next two weeks.
There will be a trip next week on the Great Hayward loop in Staffordshire. Booking is now available on the website booking portal.
We have also been approached by British Canoeing to run a come and try it session on Saturday the 2nd of July. If you can help with this session please contact our freestyle rep, Andrew Good – freestyle@hppcc.co.uk
The session will be on the flat and we would appreciate support from any qualified Leaders, Instructors or coaches to allow us to support this British Canoeing initiative.
We have also been approached by a school in Nottingham that would like to get their students involved in paddling. All of the students have additional needs and the school would like to use this as part of their PE curriculum during term time.
If you would like to support this and are qualified then please let me know. You would be paid by submitting an invoice to the club for the sessions that you run.
