Sessions over the next two weeks and a chance to see the best in Britain compete

Dear Paddler
I just wanted to let you know what is happening with sessions this week and next as it is a very busy time.
Our sessions this Saturday are very limited as most of our coaches are taking a holiday break. Please do check that you are booking the right session, we have had to move a number of novice paddlers off the back channels sessions as they booked by mistake.
On Saturday the 4th of September there will be NO club session at the club. This is due to two major events taking place on the course:
Premier Division and Division 1 Slalom Competition GB Freestyle championship
Very rarely will you be able to see 2 competitions at the same time with the country’s best paddlers in action.
The Slalom even is being run by the club and we would like to ask if anyone is available to help with this event. You don’t need technical skills, we need help in collecting judges cards and transporting them to the judges cabin, help with managing the start queue, help with weighing boats at the end etc.
If you would like to come along and watch the competition then please take this great opportunity to come and see the best in the country in action. If you would like to help please email liam.brown@hppcc.co.uk <mailto:liam.brown@hppcc.co.uk> and he will pass your details on to Mark Haylett the competition organiser.
Club sessions will resume on the 11th of September at the club.
The litter pick will still go ahead on the 5th but the car park will be very busy.
Paddle safe and have fun.
Regards
Dawn Scott Chair of Trustees chair@hppcc.co.uk <mailto:chair@hppcc.co.uk>
