Touring trips for the spring

Dear Paddler

We are delighted that we have touring trips now being advertised for the spring.
Our rearranged New Year Paddle will now hopefully be on Saturday the18th of February.
If you booked for the original trip and wish to attend this time around, please let me know and I will add you to the list – don’t book on Eola.  If you can’t attend this date and want a refund please let me know.
If you didn’t book for the original trip and wish to come please book via the booking portal.
Club equipment is available for collection for the trip on either the 4th of 11th of Feb.
March’s trip will be on Sunday the 12th of March on the Ashby Canal which will be about 16km without flow so you need to be confident to paddle this distance.  If enough people are interested there might be the possibility of an out and back trip covering less distance.  Please book for the main trip via Eola, and contact David Guntrip if you are interested in the out and back trip.  Touring@hppcc.co.uk
For April there is a peer paddling opportunity in the Norfolk Broads over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of April.  Trevor will be paddling in the area and is inviting club paddlers to join him for the weekend.  Paddling will be on the River Ant, and is easy paddling but can be subject to the wind.  For further information contact Trevor on recreation@hppcc.co.uk
More trips will be advertised shortly but don’t forget the Wye trip in June.  If you want to book Lucksall campsite, please do so quickly as the campsite is filling up quickly this year.
Kind regards
Dawn
