Dear Paddler
We would like to invite you to our 2022 Annual General Meeting.
As a registered charity, the club needs to hold an AGM yearly to report back to members on the club’s activities, future plans, approve our annual accounts and elect our Trustees.
Our 2022 AGM will be held on Saturday 8th October 2022 in the British Canoeing Offices. We would like to see as many members as possible attend in person but will also provide a Zoom link for members who wish to join remotely.
A light lunch, choice of sandwiches, cold drinks, tea and coffee will be provided at 12.45 pm prior to the AGM starting at 1.30 pm. Which we would envisage being concluded no later than 3 pm.
Please use the link below to let us know if you would like to attend in person and inform us of any special dietary requirements.

Any member of the club is welcome to submit their name to stand for any Trustee position. All trustees within the club are elected on a yearly basis.
Each year 3 Trustees are required to stand down, for 2022 the three Trustee positions standing down are;
Chair Dawn Scott
Secretary Ian Law
Coaching and Volunteers Ian Scott
However, Dawn and both Ian’s would like to stand for election again for their current roles.
We have a vacancy for a new Trustee to join the committee to promote Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) within the club. You do not have to hold a SUP coaching qualification to be the SUP Trustee. A strong interest in SUP coupled with a desire to encourage and support club members to participate in SUP is all that is needed to be a great SUP Trustee.
We would like to thank Andy Brown for the work that he did in getting SUP so well established within the club. Andy has stepped down as the SUP trustee.
Any members wishing to stand for a Trustee position should inform the Secretary – Ian Law, secretary@hppcc.co.uk by the 1st October. Role descriptions are available for all of the positions, if you are interested then please contact the Chair – Dawn Scott – chair@hppcc.co.uk and we can send the role description to you.
As Chair I would like to thank all of our Trustees, volunteers, coaches and paddlers for your support for the club as we have dealt with the challenges of Covid this last year.
The details for the Zoom meeting are below and we look forward to seeing you in person or online on the 8th
Regards
Dawn Scott
